Pastor Desmond W. Wallace is the Pastor of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Mossville, La.

Pastor Wallace was called to the gospel ministry at the age of 16.  He has served in numerous capacities such as: Junior Usher President, Junior Layman, Layman, Usher, Associate Minister, Worship Leader, and Youth Director.

He holds a PhD in Religious Education with a concentration in Christian Psychology & Counseling, a Master of Arts in Ministry with a concentration in Practical Theology, a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management with a specialization in Public Administration, and A Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social and Criminal Justice.

Pastor Wallace understands that all accomplishments as well as gifts are to be used to edify and uplift the body of Christ; they do not define who we are and what we are as born again believers in Christ Jesus. It is only, “the anointing that destroys the yoke.”

Pastor Wallace is married to Lady Melonie. They are the parents of three beautiful children: Darrius, Deseree’ and Danyele.
